VSU — known as Visayas State University, located in the northern part Baybay , Leyte. For the students, VSU is also known as “Very Scenic University“. Why you asked why it’s called “Very Scenic University”? Because for me, VSU is worthy of that title for its environmental beauty. But, VSU is not only famous for its green environment and clean atmosphere; it is also hailed for its academic prowess that puts the university as one of the top Universities in the Philippines.
My experiences — VSU is a sight to hold when it comes to making memories. There are lots of places in the University that can be used to make memories; although some places for making memories are very far from the main gate. When you go, you will be amaze by the beauty of such places . Examples of such places are the Seaside beach, the Obelisk, and the Administration Building that has a statue of Adam and Eve buck naked. Although its buck naked, the way it’s sculpted is truly amazing. Even for me that has been a student in this institution for almost 12 years, the sight of the sculptures still amaze me.

Another thing that comes to my mind when talking about my experience in VSU is the geographic location of the upper campus. Walking in the upper campus can be such a pain especially early in the morning when classes start at 7 am and when the class venue is in the topmost corner beside administration building. It would be impossible for me to make into the classroom without breaking a sweat, so I would always bring extra t shirts for changing.
Even though that I’ve been in the institution for 12 years, I am always looking forward to what will happen in the rest of my school life. I still got plenty of time to enjoy and make new memories with my friends and classmates. Even when I graduate, I would never forget the memories and experiences that I forged throughout the years in my Alma Mater.
